Cool

I imagine some get them from a wrecking or salvage yards, buy them or perhaps some even from the dealer. I hear the dealer is very expensive however.

I love ya MRLEX, but your last statement doesnt make any sence? Hoebag just said that he had guessed the price of the lights, and that it was close to what you had quoted from your dealer.. Thats how I read it anyway?

That's the cheapest price I heard on the '00-'01 tailights. Nice salvage find

I'm kinda surprised no one mentioned Ebay, the tailights do show up there once in a while but not very often. More like a hidden treasure

Well if I can get my hands on an oven (Japanese houses dont have them) Then I will be ripping the amber plastic out and doing the custom mod.. I know they are not going to look like 01"s but it will make it a little prettier to look at... .. Then the other thought was to go the way of Mercs, and blacken them? I think because mine is silver, black would look good!

LOL...I just called a salvage yard to ask about airbags for the driver side. HE told me he only sells them in pairs. I asked how much.....he said $1700. I slammed the fone in his face.

No, No... Not with the back ones.. They are VERRRRYYYYYYY hard to do without cracking... You really need an oven for them.. Do a search on past threads.. I was the sescond person to do them on here but i had to learn the hard way by cracking both of them a little..
