We have a 2014 ESh and want to keep it a long time.
It has about 172,000 mile but runs perfectly, and an engine oil analysis shows that the engine is in good condition. We frequently take long trips in it, so reliability is important.
I am thinking of changing the 12V battery (it is original, so 11 years old). I am also thinking of chaning the coolant pump.
Does anybody know what these will cost and should I change anything else proactively?

Battery - maybe. But coolant pump? I have not seen a single mentioning of coolant pump failing. Toyota had some issues with belt driven pumps but the electric pumps are bulletproof afaik.
I would only replace TPMS sensors proactively in your situation (if getting new tires). The rest I would just wait till it breaks.

OK, thanks for letting me know about the coolant pump. I think I will try to get the 12V battery changed and not change the pump. TPMS sensors are on the list this summer after the winter tires come off. Thank you!
Are you the original owner? Any other preventative maintenance other than oil changes?
I'm a brake fluid every three years, and coolant every five years kinda guy myself. Agree with the battery, and tpms sensors with next set of tires. Belt and hoses maybe, along with PCV. Maybe spark plugs and eCVT fluid?
Just keep driving until something fails. At that age and mileage any crash will be a total write off, not worth spending $$ like it’s going to last another 10 years.
My goto battery supplier is letting me down these days. Recently my local walmarts all have switched from EP batteries to JCI. You can tell by the SN changes and these all have a built in handle. However some of these batteries have post corrosion on the shelf.
Pricing has not changed but, corrosion on a fresh new battery is insane. Looks like costco might be the better deal these days.

I haven't looked lately, but back in mid-November, I bought a Duracell Group 49 H8 battery from Sam's Club (my go-to supplier for the lat decade) for my '01 BMW X5 E53 3.0i. I previously used Walmart batteries, so now three of my five vehicles use batteries from both (except for the GMC & Lexus, so far). The prices are great, and the Duracells seem to last longer than most others I've used.
I always research battery manufacturers before I buy any, and found that Duracell auto batteries, sold at Sam's Club, are made by East Penn/DEKA (probably the highest-rated mfg.).Duracell auto batteries, particularly those sold at Sam's Club, are manufactured by East Penn Manufacturing (DEKA). I would replace the battery, water pump and the coolant with SLLC.
OEM water pump is around 200 dollars, it is an electronic one.
Factory coolant must be replaced after 10 years or 150000 miles, together with the inverter coolant. After that, every 5 years.
