I have a 2017 ES350, and I have a peculiar electrical issue. Or rather, I have 3.
The master door lock and power window controls on the driver door do not work at all. I can't open any of the windows from the driver door, not even the drivers window. Only the drivers window switch lights up, and all other windows are operational from their respective window controls (passenger windows open only on the passenger doors)
The TPMS light is on, despite nothing being tampered related to the tires.
The car no longer recognizes the key fob. I thought it was a bad battery, but even after replacing the battery in the fob it still doesn't recognize it. I can't lock the car from the key nor does the smart entry work.
The only lead I have is that I was testing the voltage on the door window controls per door (I was interested in adding ambient lighting and was checking to see which wires were hot). I tested all the doors without any issues, but when I got to the driver door, I tried turning on accessory mode, and that's when I got alerted that the car was not detecting the key. I thought it was weird since I was turning on accessory mode for the other doors, but I thought it was just a bad key fob battery. But, as I mentioned before, it still did not detect the key after I replaced the battery.
I had noticed the other issues when later on when I started the car and noticed that the driver side master control panel was not working and the TPMS light was on. Any clues as to what's happening? Maybe a fuse (or 2) went out or maybe a loose connector? I hope it's nothing severe.
Not sure. You didn't describe how the issues started, suddenly, all at the same time or in some other order.
You may want to disconnect your battery for an hour and hope it will reset some computers.
If you replaced a key fob battery and it did not begin to function the way it did in the past, you either have a component failure or software issues.
I think advanced scanning tools might be needed to do the proper diagnosis. There are scanners you can buy on amazon that will allow you to actuate all the window switches from the computer screen, as well as test them electronically.
You can start watching mechanic youtube windows on how to diagnose electrical issues, something like this:

All of these issues happened suddenly (i.e. none of these issues were present before today.)
Haven't tried disconnecting the battery yet, I will try that tomorrow.
Does the small red light on the key fob come on when you press a button? If not the fob battery may be upside down or the replacement battery may be bad.
You may need to find a wiring diagram for the door switches to see which wires are powered and what fuse its on. There are some on-line auto service places where you can purchase DIY versions if you dont have other access (Mitchell and All Data are a couple). South Main Auto on Youtube has a video the where to go for those.
The key fob light does indeed light up when I press the buttons.
I looked online for the fuse box diagram for the 6th gen ES350, and I found a fuse that seemed to might have caused the issue.
Fuse No. 21 controls the power window master switch (which does not work), air conditioning (works, but only blows air and the temperature doesn't change), smart access system (does not work), TPWS (does not work), and the rear sunshade (EDIT: does not work). I will check to see if the rear sunshade works, but this fuse failing seems to be the only way all 3 of my issues occurring at the same time seem to make sense.
I will note that Fuse No. 1 also controls some of the same things as No. 21, but a lot of the things in No. 1 work just fine for me (wipers, heated wheel, power trunk, etc.) I will inspect the fuse box later today and report what I find.
Hopefully it is the fuse but if it is good and has power on both sides then you likely have a wiring problem between the fuse and the switch or one of those other systems on that circuit.

I pulled out fuse No. 21 and lo and behold, it was blown.Replaced it with a fresh fuse and all issues had been resolved. Extremely relieved it wasn't anything major
