I had a question about the grille components on my '07. Yesterday, I noticed the plastic grille molding broke on the bottom. The top is still secured, while the bottom is detached and looks to have a couple of broken clips. I was able to find a reasonable replacement online but didn't know if any additional hardware, like specific clips, would be required to install it.
Additionally, I'd like to replace the seal that sits on top of the grille (53155-33030) as I feel it's not adequate anymore and is letting a lot of air under the hood. How many undercover clips and bumper stop bolts should I order to ensure the new seal is appropriately secured and functional?
Thanks for all of your input!
I bet you could run some zip ties through the grill to hold it secure at the bottom. Or talk to a couple of local body shops. I bet one will have a cheap way to secure it..
