Curious on why you soldered the wires since it should have worked w.out doing all that. Are you sure you soldered them correctly? As in + to + and - to - according to the wiring? I'm not too certain but I think HID kits are designed with polarity in mind...

never ever solder stuff on a car.

all factory wires are either plugged in or crimped.

Well they have worked but what happened was that the hot dissapation from my hids made it too hot then water got on my bulbs and then I bought new bulbs now won't work..I can fix the soldering but if that doesn't work what do you think it might be?

wouldn't be surprised if the heat from those bulbs [like i 'told you so' not too long ago] warmed up the gasket between the lens & housing, letting air in, making it condensate.

Another thing might be a fried wire harness - in which case you should be happy it only ****ed the fog wires & not the rest of the harness...

Another thing to keep in mind is the gauge of wire used during the solder process. Thats why I use the exact same when I do any soldering since its usually a last resort. To my knowledge, the ES fogs don't need any soldering done at all

I just did it so it was secure, that way I didn't have to undo everything to see if it was just a connection issue.. But i think it's the wiring harness I will check it this weekend and look more into the polarity..

They have reverse polarity. I had to connect negative to positive and positive to negative for them to work
