it's the old 330 I believe, look at the square mirrors and the old one only have 200hp, plus don't think the guy launched it good... but normal result.

and yes it was hot and humid as ***** and the vette did end up beating me pretty handily, had about half a car in between us

You are right about apple vs orange. But vette will win 56 out of 55 times. not 54.

I don't think you realize what a diff .7 is in the 1/4mile. My car makes 100 extra wheel HP and I shaved .8 off my 1/4 mile. Not to mention that the C6 vette normal 1/4 mile time is 12.7/12.8 all day long. BTW auto trans vettes normally lay down faster 1/4 times than the 6speed models.

my previous post #12 states pretty much the same thing; I totally agree. So saying that the vette had 100hp on the GS...the outcome is on par for that particular race. Had the GS have 100 more horses then the race would have been very close.

the vette guy definitely didn't know what he was doin'. The vette is a high 12 sec. car easy.

LOL...good one. Hmm.... lemme see, stock 335i w/PROcede chip and Vishnu exhaust package, right? I heard it's a nice combo for that particular car...

You gotta remember, in a drag race its not just simply just who's faster and what not who gets there first at the finish line. The gap may not look far from 13.27 to 13.99 because of maybe of a late reaction time. Also when you go around 400HP car, you gotta remember that it is hard to put the power to the ground with regular radial tires. Or the driver must just suck.
