2013 ct?
Does anyone have any info about the 2013 CT? Release dates? Will they continue with the same power plant or go to the one used in the ES 300?

When I bought my Ct just this past Sunday, the sales guy told me (so take it with a grain of salt) that the 2013 Ct's should be at that particular dealer in about a month. He said they were already on a boat and on their way over here.

This is the only document I've seen from LEXUS discussing it:
CT 200h
For 2013, CT 200h adds product enhancements and improvements such as padded armrest on center console, revised moonroof “close” logic for consistency with other Lexus models and a revised “pop up” logic so the navigation screen can be kept closed at start up. To expand our reach to both value-oriented and luxury buyers, heated front seats are moved from standard to optional equipment and combined with 4-way power passengerseat to create a new package. The existing Leather Package option also adds heated front seats and 4-way power passenger seat. Intuitive Parking Assist option is now offered for 2013.
Changes to CT exterior colorpalette are:
Silver Lining Metallic replaces Tungsten Pearl
Add new Ultra White (available only on F SPORT) and Daybreak Yellow Mica is dropped
The 2013 CT 200h Premium rises a very nominal $100 or 0.3% over the 2012 model.
The CT 200h base model is discontinued for 2013.

If Lexus discontinues the base model, I hope they realize that will take out a lot of potential customers. The only reason I purchsed the CT was the base model, I didn't want heated seat or sun roof since I have that in my other car and I never use it. Paying an extra 2k for something I wasn't going to use was not in the cards. There are going to be more hybrid options for 2013 so Lexus needs to be more competitive in their offering.

Sounds like they're also re-adjusting some previously standard options to keep some low level price points open.

I don't use the moon roof and I have one on my car too.
But I think it's a good move to drop the base model w/o the moon roof. After all, Lexus is supposed to be a luxury brand, and since everyone knows Lexus = Toyota, they need to elevate themselves away from anything that is labeled "Base", as I think it cheapens the brand. Entry level or not, there are certain expectations from a luxury car. After all, even Camrys have moon roofs.
Looks like they will cut the heated seats and make that an option, so they are removing costly items that may not be considered an absolutely necessity for those in warmer climates. I'm in SoCal, so I don't plan on ever using my heated seats, even though I have them.
I really like my CT. It's been 10 years since I washed my hands of everything "Lexus" (owned one of the first IS300's that rolled off the boat in 2000). So far, I'm glad the CT caught my eye and made me decide to give Lexus another try. This time, I waited at least a year before jumping in.

In the german forum, someone got the info from his dealer that the 2013's cabin will be better insulated against noise from the motor.
Anyone hear about that here?

What they need to do is exactly what Hyundai did with their Veloster. A very efficient standard model that gets great MPG without being a hybrid, and a Turbo option WITH POWER that still gets very respectable mileage...
When will we see a Lexus CT Turbo Hybrid? That would get me off the fence in a hurry. Right now, I am thinking about scrapping my idea of trading my wifes RX for a CT and instead trading it on a Veloster Turbo... Much more power, very decent MPG and much less pain to the wallet.

In addition, you have to change the suspension characteristics, and made it supple ride, adopts the super UV cut glass with water feature repellent front door
