Do you guys think Lexus will introduce the 2nd generation CT next year not long after the Prius?

A CT300h with the IS300h powertrain would be really great fun to drive

 

I'd settle for having the IS300h!

 

I wish Lexus would expand the CT line.

I think the earliest that the next ct might debut is late 2016 as a '17 model.

 

I am hoping for more engine choices as well, including a plug-in hybrid. And a power tailgate too, please.

 

What's the likelihood the CT will receive the same 2.0L from the NX? That's quite some power going through the front wheels of a relatively light vehicle. Detuned perhaps?

 

If only they would but the focus is trying to get the core models up and running.
The US market is so dry compared to the other countries.

I say the only smart thing for Lexus to do is CT200t. Plus make it RWD.

But knowing Lexus, they bring that to other countries first before here.
Stupid emissions and lower grade gas is killing us.

 

I just hope they bump up the HP to 200 HP and keep the 45 MPG. This would be gold!

The current engine doesn't have enough get up and go and very sluggish when taking off from a stop.
