lexmenow please exit the thread. You made it very clear how you feel about the CT in car chat, no need to come to the CT forum and fan flames/bait.

This goes for anyone. Thank you.

If the CT 200h cost $1 or $100,000 I'll buy it if I wanna buy it. It's my money and ultimately my decision. It appears you want to make other peoples decision for them by influencing your dislike of the CT 200h.

If you an economical, luxury type of vehicle and not worried about performance, then this is the car for you. The CT is definitely a step in luxury and features compared to the Subaru.

I have other high performance cars, both luxury and SUV, I find the CT as my daily commuter vehicle.

Buying factors:

-I don't like sedans, i want a hatchback
-I don't care about HP, i'm not looking to drag race, have young kids so want to keep it safe, if i wanted a fast car I'd buy an impreza STI wagon.
-I'm paying cash, i like the idea of owning a hybrid, the prius looks like *** and for a few dollars more i can get a car that is a hybrid and looks good
-I like the fact that i can get a new lexus for about 30k msrp
-space isnt a concern, I've got an SUV for that.

The more I think about it, the more I see that this is the right car for me .... there is really nothing else (hatchback wise at least) at this price point that I can find.

If I want performance I just take the Carrera out

Seriously, this is a luxury high mileage vehicle. If you find another 'High Mileage' luxury vehicle getting this fuel mileage let me know. But except for street light to street light, fast hilly curvey roads this car does an excellent job of giving you a good cabin and high mileage.

It is what it is..... don't try to make it something else.
