Gas continuing to climb, CT good timing?

Premium around here is $3.30-$3.40 and all signs show it continuing to climb this year. The CT seems to be arriving at a good time in regards to gas prices.
The CT as we know is rated at 42 MPG and consumer shift to more efficient/smaller cars when gas prices rise.

I think this will certainly be favorable for the CT once it arrives, however I am hoping that Lexus comes out with a very strong ad campaign to supplement an already great product. The HS's dimly lit "Hello Someday" spots were very weak and I'd like to see them come on strong with the CT. Their advertising as of late has been fantastic, so fingers crossed!
I think so. I'm ready to get a higher MPG car. I just paid $3.78/gallon and that is not even the highers prices yet. Some parts in the state are already over $4/gallon. I know my car is paid for and it would take some time to recoup the cost of a new higher MPG or hybrid car, but there is just something about paying money for a car vs paying money every couple days for liquid that seems to evaporate.
