YO YO YO! My name is Nick and I'm 20 from milwaukee wi. I am not a lexus owner yet. I will be soon i just wanna get some advice and some help on what i want to do. I am planing on getiing a Is300 and doing suspension and wheels over the winter. And other things like vip curtons and the list goes on. The first step of my mission is finding a car to play with. I want a 5 speed but a autmatic for the right price would be fine. i would perfer black but i am not that picky at the moment. Now for some advice from some ppl that have messed with the suspinsion. I wanna go low but air ride is to much. so I am thinking coilovers. and the other thing i need help with is wheels and tires. Just any help I have big plans and will make a great thread of my build!

There is a Mint IS on cars.com with a 5 spd in Milwaukee. Guy wants a lot over book, but it is nice.

I'm in the Bayview/Southshore area moat weekends. Another member in a SA at a big dealer up in Milwaukee.

Your friends got great deals.

I just looked. The cleanest IS300 5spd with 80K was $12,900 and 350miles away from Chicago
The cheapest one is a roach coach with 30k miles over on the timing belt. $6900...also 350miles away. The other 8 I found all were in the 8-10K range. All over 110k miles. Half not having the Timing belt changed. Almost all 2nd and 3rd owner clutch riding, drift-wannabe douches.

Yea he got a great deal paying that much for a Manual one. I figure if i can find one that is 5 speed in my price range I will jump on it. But I doubt that will happen. So I am pretty much telling myself I am getting a automatic one witch isnt that big of deal when I am going for a stance VIP look and not drift go fast in a straight line deal. How important is it to have the tommig belt changed at 100k I seen a lot of talk about that. My friends dad has a is300 with 130k and some change and never had his changed.......

Yea I get the point. Rather just have the belt change than replacing other parts that cost a lot more! No can someone please help me find a dam car to buy I wanna start wrenching on it already lol.
