That's another option I'm exploring. It's just that I know the history of this car. Except for one minor issues that's been resolved, it's a solid vehicle that's been very reliable
Turn it in, and then hope that the dealer hangs onto it so you can buy it back?

I could do that, but Polestar doesn't have traditional dealerships. Although in this case, they may use a Volvo dealership for turn in, as they use Volvo dealerships for repair and servicing.
When I brought my Polestar in for it's 20K service (Volvo of Palo Alto), their sales people texted me offering me $27k on the spot. Unfortunately for them (and me), the buyout was around $38k from Polestar Financial
Not sure if we talked about it yet on this thread, but why does the Polestar 4 have no rear window? I know with LCD screens and cameras, you really don't need it for vision, but still I feel like its strange not to have glass back there. Without sounding cynical, is this a reaction to all of the crime involving thieves smashing the rear windows on SUVs?

According to Polestar, it's to improve visibility. They say the camera will give them 120-degree field of view. Also they say the rear window won't be obstructed by rain, snow, and dust

but the dealer would then have to buy the car at full residual (31k) knowing they're unlikely to even be able to sell it for that much, so it's a waste of time for them.

Polestar financial told me they don't negotiate on buyouts. So that's that....
i don't think any finance company does. it's only a win if the buy out is below market value.
Doing a search in my area, similar year Polestars with similar miles are going from $31K to $36k. It just might be worth getting into another lease, right now they have a really good leasing option, but we'll see when the lease is up
Still waiting on matrix headlights.
I will return my Polestar2 at the end of the lease. Most likely to be replaced by another EV.
iOS got an app update
if you don't need/want the dog crate, might be able to donate it to a shelter.
same with the furniture piece, good will or a thrift shop. i'm sure someone will put it to good use.
a few times i've simply put stuff at the end of my home or office driveway and usually within a few hours, it's gone.

We are giving away the dresser, not the dog crate. We use it when we take our dog in the van. I was just too lazy to put it back in the garage
