I think they look great from the front but that's about it for presence. It's too small.
The rear is a snooze fest, big time.
Crazy how much the competition has improved. LX570 was competitive at a time. It took 3rd place in 2015 in a MT comparo and there were quite a few things they liked about it.
I think the new LXs look absolutely fantastic, much as I do the new Sequoia. There are shortcomings in both vehicles, though, but for me, styling isn't one of them.

i like the sequoia's looks better than lx, but both have horrendous interior packaging, especially the sequoia.

I don't know why people spend so much on a lot of other stuff too. Lol
I guess if people have lots of money to burn it's no big deal.
"lots of money" is relative. i certainly never thought i'd spend a hundred large on an lc500. but ya know what, after agonizing for months i thought f-it life is unpredictable and short.
Would be amazing with a 5 speed manual and V8 with full time 4WD.
I want a 6-speed with left side reverse personally.....I also prefer 2WD/AWD/4-Hi/4-Lo transfercases vs full time. You can't light up the rears with full time and that ruins a lot of the fun of a manual

I'm so glad my truck is part-time. Running in just 2wd on pavement is great, and then locking it into 4wd when I actually need it. I try and engage it about once a month or so to keep it all fresh.
