That is actually normal for this level of a system, the true top end setups are worth the cost. The W223 top end audio is one of the best out there and crazy for a car based system. My W12 has a system on that level and it cost the same 10 years ago....it's unreal how different it is from other systems and the one in the W223 is in that small group of insane setups.

The piano black options here should be actual deeply lacquered wood, I can't say for certain but the two W223s I saw looked to be that and it's that way in my car. It's rarely ever plastic on cars like this...

i have no doubt the upgraded s-class audio will be amazing.

i will also add the lexicon system i had in the g90 i had (which doesn't cost extra!) was hands down the best car audio system i've ever experienced.

The G90 is a value that’s hard to beat

In other news we’re going to go look at a Pacifica e Hybrid (kill me) and the Jeep this evening…

Why? Why would you waste money on these, I'm surprised that stuff like this is even in my neighborhood actually lol!

Don't get a another one Steve lol! Get the GC with the options you want, I'm sure there has to be one that can be shipped to you

G90 lacks any sort of status. It screams value-brans. It's a V6

Drove the Pacifica Hybrid. They’re doing numbers on it lol

It drives way better than our gas Pacifica, the CVT is much smoother than the jerky 9 speed the gas car has.

Yesterday we stopped on our way back from out of town and picked up the dog, and he lept into the van and he’s running all around and jumping over the console into the front seats and running back past the kids and I came to two conclusions:

1. My wife does this every day, the dog goes with them to school for drop off and pickup. I honestly am not sure that he could leap into an SUV easily or the same way without hurting himself.

2. I am better off not having a family vehicle that I like, because literally in that moment he would have completely destroyed it. Slobber everywhere, muddy paw prints everywhere. I would have been so furious if that was something I cared about. But…it’s not.

So, minivan it is lol.

Congrats? Lol sorry, couldn't resist!

Sounds like you are choosing the path that will put the least stress on you so that's good, I know I also would get annoyed if one of the nice cars was subjected to hard treatment. I do that same thing and have a cars I don't care about for work etc

If I were buying an S-class, the Burmeister would be non-negotiable.
The B&W upgrade in my X7 was only $3,400, the upgrade in the S class is exactly double. I hope it’s doubly as good for that price.

I would say it is. It's in my top 5 factory car system list.

Everything I have been told says it is, I have never heard it, that’s how rare it is
