Just get rid of that stupid azz hump that ruins the cargo area with the new Sequoyah bc of the hybrid, and drop the LX V6 into it. That thing is ridiculous if you look at the new gen vs old gen with all the seats down. Old one had soooo much more cargo space.

Old one fits 8ft sheets like a van......it's unparalleled for it a wheel base what it can carry and do. A true one car solution to literally anything.
LC is way more subtle, I think many buyers like that.Though yes to me it's nuts to choose that over an LX, personally. Especially when they weren't far apart price-wise. Pretty sure Cruisers go for more than LXs in the used market and have for some time. There was one here a 2013 for $48k with 168,000 miles on it...it sold.
I'm not sure why one would want that though. As you mentioned, price difference is not that significant. Maybe it costs less to do oil change? I rarely see LC around here. I don't see as many LX as other large SUVs but they do show up here and there.

Because. The Land Cruiser is authentic. It has heritage. LX is just a Land Cruiser with lipstick. Gussied up

LC over LX? I don't get it either. Like I've said it's a rebadge but in a very, very good way. LX carries no shame nor does it need to. Pretty much same capability, the same ridiculous hell testing it went through, with $90,000-car Lexus goodies baked in. No brainer for me.... I would much rather have the higher end vehicle. LCs are nice inside but LX million times nicer. I get my oil changed at my tire shop lol when they rotate my tires. It's an easy truck to work on as well, as trucks should be. I wouldn't take this to the dealer for anything else other than AHC and transmission fluid change.

Please Look, friend. not everyone wants a superficial badge on something that has extreme heritage. Land Cruiser is something really special. The Sequyeah is just an American Tundra SUV with an interior that is not as well put together

Yeah but LX is still a Land Cruiser, I’m not talking about Sequoyah. LX has an almost 30 year heritage. I like upscale brands. LCs go for more anyway on the used market, no way on Earth I would have chosen that.

I did. Unless you like fake wood, subpar (compared to LX) leather and trim, subpar sound system, a manual rear hatch, manual 3rd row seats, and/or looks which are subjective. A Cruiser is nice inside for sure but it’s no LX.
LX is better on the inside than any LC, that's why they cost more.....better materials and fit standards and much better paint.
The paint quality easily matches that of my LS430 which had outstanding materials and finish. They’re identical colors so I see them together a lot. I have never paid too much attention to a Cruiser’s paint. I would hope and assume they’d have at least a good paint job. The lack of a power rear door is pretty ridiculous for $85,000 new though.

I am not sure which trim you've seen, the 2022 LC 300 Limited I've been in has automated folding 3rd row seats, motorized tail gate with memory. Interior material is not to the same level as the 2022 LX, but it's solid, plush with no squeaks and the controls are easier to use than the LX. A "million" times better just shows subjective bias that is all I'm calling out. The interior difference is no more than between a Camry and an ES, and there is no one saying they are million times apart.

The last gen Land Crusier DID have a power rear door.

‘Like I said. LX is a gussied up Land Cruiser

the Land Cruiser has semi-aniline leather. Lexus LX you don’t get it standard

I've had your gen LX and a same gen LC in at the same time and also had a 100 series of each in at the same time as well. There is no question what car is better
