So for the first time in my life I paid someone to detail the Pacifica. Inside and out. It was so filthy when we got back from WV and I just did not have a full day on my hands and knees scrubbing and cleaning the inside in me. I'll tell ya what, it came out amazing! I had to wipe down some smudges and smears and redo the tire dressing, but it really cleaned up good and the $400 was well worth me not having to do that. I think I will have this done to her vehicle once or twice a year going forward since it gets so hammered
I'm still impressed at how nice looking of an interior space that is!
Its a very nice van...can't fault it. It cleans up good too, all the materials and the carpeting and all are good quality. Paint is nice and polishes up well...

Then keep it! Sometimes change isn't better. Both you and your wife know what to expect with this van and are used to it. Plus it is very nice, definitely looks great when cleaned up and has tons of space for all your stuff. Put that extra money into a Maybach or some other V12. Not that there are many to choose from but still.
Nice dog by the way. Looks really happy sitting in the front.
Considering picking up a second vehicle for ****s and giggles, and to keep miles off the truck(I'm at 104,000 and want to keep it for many years to come).
Kind of coming down between either a 2018-2019 Mustang GT or a 2017-2019 540i. I know, they're completely different vehicles in very different categories. I'm leaning towards the 540i right now because it's a bit more practical. Will likely pay cash given the high interest rates right now.
This car would share commute duties with the truck, and probably also be used for out of town trips where I know I won't be hauling or off-roading.
Convertible top gets hot! It’s way too hot for top down weather now, forget it.
I also noticed today in the SL that it gets hot inside when you’re stationary. The A/C compensates so it’s fine, but yeah that black top is hot! Once you get going the a/c lowers. It’s nothing bad, but an observation. I enjoy driving it top up in the heat running the HVAC, keep everything greased.

What keeps me from wanting to do that is reliability, and the fact that it doesn’t have self driving capability on the highway. I really miss that on a trip being used to it in the S560.
No interest in a V12 or Maybach for me, I may keep my S560 or get a new one or something else, have a year before I have to make that choice but the choice is here with the Pacifica…
Thankya! He’s a good guy.

The Mustang will have the Ford "flavor" that you have now with your truck.
That can be a good thing if your truck feels good to you.
Interesting, you feel the BMW 540I is more practical.
I was thinking just the opposite. Lol
gonna be a lot of quotes friends. Hard to edit on my phone.

I agree. Keep it. New cars are so expensive.

No way the Benz has a better AC to the LX.

Only live once. v12 all the way. If I could I’d do it. I guess I could sell all my cars and do it.

Is the Mustang too sporty?
I saw some mustangs at the local car meet.
Picture over load coming.
I thought this was the most interesting. Why? It’s the generation you never see at the show.
Saw these two MR2s tonight I wish Toyota would remake and bring back the MR2. I can’t believe Toyota once made a two seater with a mid engine. And they made a Spyder.
no idea if this was a fake.
Such a nice car
alright…this was the highlight of my day. At 7AM
Spoiler
somehow I don’t feel bad for the owner

G30, pre-LCI, so a 2017-2019. Price range is right, and it's not a COVID era build.

I do like the Ford flavor, and the 5.0 in the Mustang is what's in my truck(though mine's a gen 2 coyote vs the gen 3 that's in the year range of Mustangs i'm looking at).
A 540i sedan will always be more practical than a Mustang. Right now I'm just trying to decide if I value practicality or fun more. Not sure. I mean, if I need people or cargo space, the truck already has it in spades(more leg room than any sedan even). The B58/ZF8 combo seems to be solidly reliable, but the 5.0 probably has it beat on that front.....but a used 5.0 in a mustang...who knows how well that was cared for.

was just in the garage and noticed I was a little close to the door. Yeesh…that was almost unfortunate!
That's definitely tight. My truck is just about a couple inches too long for the garage door to close, so it sits in my driveway. It gets pulled into the garage for oil changes and maintenance.

That's why I always parked my cars outside in the driveway.
Only toys and tools are allowed in the garage, everyone knows that. lol

If you feed him a happy meal while traveling you will never need Waze again to find a McDonalds.
He will let you know when you are getting close. lol
At least my Rottie did, and he drove with me everywhere back in the day.

That's why I love dogs.
They just want to be wherever you want to go!

I don't know what mileage you are considering but I wouldn't fear a Mustang GT for taking too much beating if maintenance history is ok and under 50k miles.
BMW's make me nervous at higher mileages.
Drove mine to 80k no problems but I don't consider them keepers over 100k miles.
Doesn't look mischievous at all, as far as retrievers go anyways (or perhaps that's just my experience ). Naturally, by virtue of posting cute dog pics, all your sins have been absolved. Don't abuse.
