Default Saving the Tesla Roadster

No not the forever delayed Roadster 2, the original. This car has largely been forgotten, in general and by Tesla. Roadster owners were largely left abandoned. Hard to believe this is the car that was the launch pad for building Tesla into what they are today.

I remember the first time I saw one of these, one of our investors had one. I thought it was the coolest thing, but I thought it was one of those companies that would cater to the super wealthy only

A lady that lives in the neighborhood across from mine has had one since it was new. I always thought it was really cool and it was the first Tesla I had seen. I always wondered what happened to the roadster once Teslas became popular as I’ve never seen another.

I saw one last week when I stopped by to see my clear bra guy. It was the first one I have ever seen in person and was tiny. It was so sad because the car was completely neglected. It was filthy and the brake rotors were completely rusted. It looked terrible.

I've driven it once, and it's sort of a pain. Steering wheel is completely manual with no power assist, no nannies. Chassis is very stiff. Not comfortable at all. It's pure enthusiast built. That's why Elon sent his into space

Other than the electrolytic caps used in the inverter (the PEM), what are the actual problems with the roadster? (excl. no availability of parts, ofc)
