The 430 is huge inside, my SWB 460 still feels quite small to me even after having for several months. Not cramped or anything, but doesn't feel like a full size/truck class vehicle inside like the 430 did
Oh yeah, the 430 is absolutely larger than the 460 inside, even the LWB version.
The LS500's questionable packaging for styling could have been excused had they shoved in the TTV8 as originally planned, because I think it had a true front mid-engine layout and was basically made for it.
It just looks like a car from another era, which it is.
.
Yep. Back when people bought tons of luxury cars. They sold at least 20k a year 430s from 2001-2006, that's a huge number and I remember them all over the place.

Yeah, I think many of us would have welcomed the 5LS much, much warmly if it came with a V8 engine. I still hate that you can't get one.
At least the BMW has one available still. I still can't warm to the looks but the fact that there is one you can get, that's nice.

I actually parked next to one at dinner tonight...they just look really old at this point IMO
Hah, nice. I see an old 430 I gawk if it's in very nice shape. It's prettier than this new 7 series I think, lol.
I still look at them too for nostalgia's sake, but I wouldn't say its better looking than basically any modern sedan IMO. I never loved the styling when they were new even.

I saw a mint 400 yesterday getting back to my car at the store. Surprised the hell out of me because this town has like one and it's an early model year. This was a 98-00 black with gray cladding. Probably has a million miles at this point but it was very well maintained. I waited for some people to go, then I went over to admire it. Lol

This BMW isn't clean, that's my issue with it. So many things are just all over the place like the facia (if that's what we want to call it), that's never really a good thing.

My favorite LS is still the 98-00 LS400. We actually kept our 400 and bought it out of the lease vs trading it for the 430 when it came out.

Until 2004 when he traded it on the facelift LS430. His company bought him the 430 as a company car, which is the main reason he did it. The 400 had about 170k miles on it at that point.
