BMW isn't mimicking Rolls, they're mimicking the Chinese brands that mimicked Rolls lol

Everything about the new 7 seems tailor made for Chinese tastes, right down to the stupid massive front FWD overhang because I suppose that's associated with wealth even moreso than the big grille.

Must cost a huge amount of money—-maybe the price of three ES 350’s I bet. Probably marketed to those super wealthy international business types and professional athletes.

The 7 Series? Similar in cost to an LS, S Class, A8 etc.

"Designed for 38 year-olds in China." That's what the BMW spokesperson told Mat Watson.

BMWs are getting so ugly nowadays.... Also that huge tacked on screen makes the interior look cheap. Do they want to drive all their customers away or something? Lol.

I hope they don't sell well and go back to their older styling lol. Highly doubt it though...

video review i posted shows the car is very advanced and feature-laden but super blingy.

love the auto open/close doors all around.
love the drivetrain.
love the infotainment.
love the seats (massage all seats!)

massive 8k 31" rear screen is crazy and amazing, but it blocks the driver's rear view mirror and they don't offer a camera mirror.

I watched the Redline video. This car is just unspeakably hideous. I mean, my god. Even inside where the design is not bad, its so garish...there is zero chance I could ever drive this car. Which is really a shame, because I really loved the previous iteration of the 7 Series.

This is the Gucci of cars. I saw a friend of mine wearing Gucci shoes the other day and all the other women were just fawning over them. They looked like diamond studded work boots...hideous.

It will be interesting to see if with it being "designed for 38 year olds in China" it outsells the S Class there, I doubt it.

Then on top of that, its not really a complete design. The only way to not get the M Sport package, which makes it look so much worse, is to get tje EV i7. No AWD on the 740....
