Tesla Cybertruck
Whatever you think about the Cyber Truck, besides being ugly as frick and having sharp panels, it's well engineered and drives better than most cars and trucks I've driven over 30 years. Nothing eBay about it except it's design and shape
Haha good attempt at rationalization
. I've been to Tesla Fremont more times than I count over the last few years, and I've always had to hunt to find a parking space, sometimes waiting for one to open. Friday most of them were open. No more BS to myself, the reality of the situation is right in front of my eyes

Its the same way here, the Tesla showrooms are empty, people do not want to be seen in one. They're also losing staff, a lot of the people at the local Rivian facility recently left Tesla. Sales experience and the way they pay their people is similar.

Yeah, but it will never be a big seller. Never was going to be. It's just too different to be mainstream. I might go drive one, just to see what the fuss is all about. Wraps make a huge difference in how they look. Saw one in a gloss black wrap not long ago, and it looked really good. I couldn't believe I actually thought that.
i'm in uk and there's teslas EVERYWHERE. and guess what, no complaints about "Elon" and no vandalism and "people" LOVE them.

oh and stock up to $318 today. they must be doing horribly.

UK people "love" Tesla so much that Tesla sales in April fell 62% to the lowest in over two years:
- Tesla's April car sales drop 62% in Britain, 46% in Germany
- EV market share for Tesla in Britain falls to 9.3%
I used to six (6) of them parked on one level of the parking lot at work earlier this year.
Between then and now, all have disappeared. I have no idea if owners ditched them altogether, or parked them under covers somewhere. But it takes a miracle to have even a single one to come out and play these days.
I see you've taken your own advice to heart, or been over-dozing on the extremist propaganda.
Keep it up, comrade!
Tesla sales in Europe:
a
P.S.: I am not against Tesla and still own one. Even had a CT reserved based on the released specs, despite how ugly it looked.
P.P.S.: Once CT got released as a bait'n'switch offer with lower ranges and higher price, all that was left was CT's buck fugliness. Thus, I cancelled my reservation and moved on.

one month is not a trend.
tesla share was always likely to drop as more entrants come into the market.
tesla's switch over to juniper model y has been phased in with very limited to no availability in many places until recently.
funny how norway and italy INCREASED in april and YTD.
You seam to be struggling with reading the graph or following the news.
Tesla sales are in steep decline across numerous markets, across multiple months, and year-to-date.
The issue is not with relative market share, but with absolute vehicle sales drop in US, EU, and Asia. Across all markets.
Causes are numerous, but all lead to the CEO's hubris and absconding from his job.
Irrelevant.
Sales are down across all models across all markets.
New Modely Y sales are struggling more than the old.
Tesla is facing a massive deamand erosion problem!
Not YTD, they did not.
You may want to go back to middle school and brush up your basic math skills?

The reactions of the people I've been with and have talked to outside of (empty) Tesla showrooms.
Conversation I had with the staff at the Rivian center, all of which had recently left Tesla
Not making up stories, sharing my own experience. If your experience differs then share that, you don't have to accuse me of lying to do that.
keep telling yourself stories. tesla is just fine.

There have absolutely been significant anti-Tesla protests (NB - they are really anti-Musk protests) in the UK, there has been a ton of press coverage on the topic, and most of the Teslas you might see everywhere in the UK were obviously purchased prior to the protests. The UK is the biggest EV market in Europe, it's about the size of the California EV market, and until recently Tesla was the best selling brand in that market.

So we were talking about the impact Elon has had on Tesla. This is a true story that just happened. The most junior guy on my team just had his Kia K5 totalled, he wants a Tesla Model 3. One of the managers told him that if he got a Tesla he was off the team. No joke. I of course stepped in and negated that...but just an example of how strongly some people feel about this.
