Definitely a game changer. No need to plug in every night anymore because it can fully charge a vehicle in less than 8 hours. Now I use it like a gas station...once a week I just plug in. I don't let the battery level go below 40 percent so if there is some emergency or unexpected drive, I don't have to run to a supercharger.

The other day a bus driver next to me waved at me to open my window. He was a Model 3 owner so he knew a little bit about it but wanted to know how I liked it. Said he was thinking of buying one. There are more of them on the road now so I don't get as much stares and questions as i used to back when I first got it in January. I've lost my "special" status

If you don't have Solar, than you just plug in at night after 9PM to avoid summer peak times. This will fully charge a 75 to 78 kWh battery 0 to 90 percent in 8 hours of less. You could technically get away with sharing out with your washer/dryer circuit (Cannot use both at the same time), but you would have to drop the Amps down to 20A or 30A

Seperate Sub-Panel
I'm actually over max already.....if I turn too much on I pop the main. I would need to redirect one of my existing 40 amp lines to this and give up something it was powering

What are you powering, a pot farm? You must have a lot going on over there! So far I've been in positive territory with daily summer AC usagage and charging two EV's:

I have two kitchen aid superba ovens, a matching IR cooktop, microwave, fridge, garage fridge, basement has two freezers, two 1300watt PCs that usually consume 1100 at the wall in use, a bunch of lights and landscape lights, 29 year old AC unit that is undersized and runs like half the time in summer, I never turn the main HVAC fan off, a commercial whole house dehumidifier that takes 900-2000w, 400w UV light system for killing anything in the vents, hot tub and various other small stuff.

If I turn too much on at once I'm over max, if we are using both ovens we can't use the drier or it cuts off the sub panel for the basement since one oven and the cooktop are routed there. Im struggling to figure out a way to have enough amps free for a welder right now but I'm about to just give up and accept the fact I don't need one at my house too.

Oh crap, that's a lot of usage. Your PC's are consuming almost as much power as one of my servers in our data center! You must be mining crypto? Geez, I don't want to see your Electric bill

$386 last month, I actually did mine a lot in the early days. I have a decent amount of BTC from back when you could cpu mine it lol! Now it's just for gaming and I'm an OC maniac, I'm running well over spec on everything including overvolted ram. It's an Intel HEDT platform with SLI 2080tis and tipple wide 1440p monitors, it's likely the last upgrade I'll do that's on this level. Stuff has gotten so pricy and powerful there is no longer a point for me to chase the ultimate system

Polestar 3 looks really good. I’m glad EVs are starting to look like normal cars.

If it actually becomes available next year I may sell my Polestar 2 and get the 3. Or turn my wife's Ioniq lease in for the P3. I was thinking about getting her the Ioniq 5, but dealing with the dealership is like pulling teeth. The Hyundai sales person I got my wife's lease through is not even remotely interested in talking to me about pre-ordering one, because you can't, it's first come, first serve and they are getting two or three at a time and drastically marking them up. I don't think I want to deal with a dealership ever again

Its going to be extremely expensive though, between $75-110K according to their CEO.

If you look at what it’s competing against it’s not too bad. It says it’s competing with the Cayenne and who knows if that’s really true but given the utility and horsepower, if you were to compare it to a Cayenne or something like a X5M just based on horsepower it looks like a bargain compared to those.

The way the prices of cars are heading, it's actually not that bad. Especially for a 600 plus HP SUV. Hopefully prices on cars start to come down, but don't hold your breath

Yikes, that's a scary thought.
It amazes me how much is a person willing to spend to go from point A to Pont B.
I can see it for people with lots of money but dang. lol

Yeah, vehicle pricing is insane today. My brother in law is looking at a new Sienna, $8,500 over MSRP, that doesn't include other dealership markups. If the P3 can be had for under $100k, it will be a bargain. Relatively speaking of course
