That’s exactly what I thought when I watched this when it came out.

he hasn't reviewed ev's until now... well 99% of the public has never driven an ev either, so maybe his fresh view is welcomed by many.
regardless of his personality and style, i thought the review was quite objective, fair, and balanced.

so instead of attacking what he said, you attack the reviewer's style. mmkay...

He comes off as a lazy rookie that hasn’t done any homework nor preparation, and that’s what bothers me most about the video. Perhaps 99% of the public is like that now…

this forum is hardly representative of the public at large.
common knowledge to you and others enthusiastic about EVs.
i don't see it as lazy as he basically captured his raw impressions. i can understand it didn't bring anything new to someone like yourself, but youtube is filled with videos 'stating the obvious' to someone who already knows.
peace
This guy’s opinion is not only late to the game but he doesn’t bring anything new to the table that hasn’t already been repeated about EVs. To me, he’s just regurgitating common knowledge with bland delivery. Mmkay?

Polestar Announces 125% Sales Increase So Far in 2022
PSNY expects 50,000 deliveries by the end of 2022
According to a company press release, Polestar Automotive has seen electric vehicle (EV) deliveries for the first half of 2022 increase nearly 125% compared to the same time last year. This saw it deliver 21,200 cars during that time, as compared to 9,510 cars in the first half of 2021.
Polestar Automotive also notes that global orders taken since the start of the year have reached 50,000 units. That’s a 350% increase year-over-year. It also has the company reaffirming its outlook of 50,000 EV deliveries for the full year of 2022.
It’s worth mentioning that this increase in orders and deliveries comes as the company expands to new areas. During the first half of the year, it increased the markets it operates in from 19 to 25. It also increased retail locations from 103 to 125 and plans for 30 more to open by the end of 2022.
Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar Automotive, said the following in the news release:
"It is great to see that the number of enthusiastic Polestar 2 customers is growing so quickly. I am very confident that the strong momentum we have seen this year in brand awareness and sales figures will accelerate powerfully in the coming years as more ground-breaking cars are revealed"

Kidna slow, was hoping to see something in the 11s at least. Good to see the cooling and management works well though by the looks of it, you going to take yours out?

Good thing I have a V8 version that is tuned that does 11.3 lol! I don't care what a 6 runs since I would never own a 6.
Also the area you highlighted is hilariously wrong. Why don't you link C&D or anything credible or I don't know.....factory specs? Did you not even think for a second it's strange that the 4.0 is listed on your source as exactly the same as the 6?

Cope more. Your car still isn't where the Germans were 10 years ago.

A few simple inexpensive bolt-ons and a tune, huh? I guess the guy in the A8 I annihilated the other day didn't get the memo....

I will settle for this, post a video of you doing a 0-60 and then a 0-100. I'll do the same. Lets both show it here and see what car hits those marks faster. I'll make the video today in 90* weather at standard operating temp with a passenger in the car as well as the spare and all normal items.

Come out here. I will pay you $5000 if you win. I am tired of this and I know your car is slower to 60 and the 1/4 and yet you keep insisting it's the best thing ever. I get it. You went from a V6 to something with power for the first time and it's amazing you a lot. But a high 12s car is not a fast street car these days. FACTORY to factory spec your car still loses, against a tuned car you are more than a full second behind in the 1/4 and .5 to 60

I'm tired of the constant claims you make beating cars left and right, post up a 0-100 for us so we can see just how fast it is. I hope it's well under 8 seconds

You started all this in many threads. You constantly went on and on just how your EV is the fastest thing ever and nothing ICE can even come close SO many times and it has annoyed so many people, if you are so confident then post up but your car should run exactly what the spec is being an EV. You have drunk the coolaid HARD with the EVs and it really annoys people when you can't even be bothered to be realistic and pull hilariously off numbers like you quoted above. The personal insult is somewhat annoying but hey, sure, I am just 26 so I guess it's fair but that doesn't change the fact I have what I have at my age. Sorry? I'll refrain from any similar remarks since I don't know you well enough, it's disappointing since we got along fairly well on here until you got the EV

As soon as you compare stock to modified (zero proof of actual performance ) you've already lost the argument.
