I saw the Maybach a few times in the city and it is very ugly. It looks so plain, a regular S class looks more upscale. The interior is amazing though, i got to see it upclose at the autoshow. If i had that type of $$$, i would def get the new Rolls though. I saw the new one with 22in chrome wheels driving in Soho, that car looks just incredible.

The next S-Class mercedes is going to have a few of the Maybach elements like the panoramic greehouse, from what I recall reading about it.
I don't think the Maybach looks great, but it is a hella nice car for interior options...I've been near several Rolls, from the mid 90's and they never were great to me.

That panoramic sunroof i now available on the E-class (very cool and comes with solar panels to cool down the car on hot days ) and the new Rolls.....? I think that is one ugly car. True it has ungodly amounts of torque but it looks like a freakin brick. That may or may not be as bad as the Hyundai-like front of the Maybach.

It reminds me of people who say the 2nd gen MR2 looks too much like the 2nd gen Probe. but the MR2 came out in 1989 (JDM), the probe came out in 1993 or 1994.

I just went over to the 310 motoring site, and that Maybach is on the front page. The funny thing about 310 is Chris Mills (owner) was in Motor Trend talking about " I know how to modify cars and match the wheels perfectly, and I advise all my customers on the right parts" If 310 was so great, then why are there so many cars on their site sitting 10 feet above the wheels?
A true enthusiast, would MAKE the artist do suspension/braking upgrades in order to maintain stability/safety. What would the artist care? When your spending 15k on ostrich seats, whats 2gs for some coilovers?
Shops like 310 are too concerned with their MTV coverage. I dont think I have ever heard them do engine work(forced induction, etc), just rims, alcantara, and ICE.
Its cool though, they are RAKING in the bucks.
