I haven’t really paid much attention to the new redesign G class. They did put in a IRS up front, so the layout is now the same as the LX..very special stuff. Can’t believe there was a V12 model at one time.

.
Up here the GX starts at $72k. Loaded with tax and the green tax it’s a $100K vehicle. So i would assume it would not be the only car in the driveway. Definitely can haul.

Fancy Jeep Wrangler WITH V12! And locking everything.....plus insanely good resistance to impacts off road.

Yeah, you are right but still. It's awesome

The G doesn't have a V12 anymore...

Lots of awesome vehicles I would never drive every day lol

X5's rear legroom (37.4) feels ridiculously tight for its size and people complain about it all the time. GLE (40.9) feels significantly more spacious back there. But that doesn't seem to affect the sale or prevent people from getting X5 as daily and/or over GLE. GX (34.1) somehow does not feel tight back there. Must be the reclinable rear seat and the high roof. G Wagon being at 39.53 is fine IMO. Plus, why would someone care about legroom if it's used for daily?

Yeah the size isn't the issue as much as how the vehicle rides and drives

Thats basically what I was trying to say earlier. The G-wagen is annoying in more impactful ways than space lol. The super wide turning circle, for example, causes me to have to make three point turns more often than I’d like in this city of crowded streets.

I sat in a G63 a few weeks ago. The interior quality wasn't all that great. Slightly worse than my W223. And still no MBUX. I can't believe people are paying $100k over sticker for them. I did order a G550 but I'm not at all excited about it. I'm just keeping my options open because everything is so scarce.

Saw my first one in the wild today, in white. Looked awesome! Even the rear.

Every single review on these has been extremely positive. There's quite a long lead time on them now. My dealer, who has the LR/RR volumes to get good allocations, reckons it will be well into next year and likely longer for a car ordered now.

I might go ahead and order one, depending on the terms of the deposit.

if you do I’d love to see the spec you order. I’m thinking about placing an order too, I’ve started looking at the online builder a little more seriously lately.

Every one that I've seen in person has been beautiful. I think it'd be a stellar follow up to the S-class.

I've never seen a Range Rover I didn't love. They're really spectacular inside and out. I think they weigh over 6,000 lbs so you can consider the 179 tax code for accelerated depreciation???
