Of course it’s cheaper….duh, San Francisco are you kidding me? But for non elite coastal cities, 2 grand for a 1 bedroom is a lot. I never said Knoxville is SF. The thing is that years ago it used to be “cheap” to live here. For you from CA I’m sure it still would be but, no, for the area it’s been on fire….it’s not so cheap here anymore. The real estate market has roughly doubled in 5 years. I found one place downtown that has a few spots, will keep looking for more.
I was thinking even from where I was living which is still coastal So-cal. SF is beyond expensive even compared to So-cal. You can still find condos that are around $500k in so-cal unlike northern Cal.

And yes, SF is beyond insane rent wise. Such a beautiful city but yeah no thanks, visit never live. Just like LA.

I have never liked the front end, needed for aerodynamics. Up here the Y is an $83K crossover. Then goes to $90K. Not quite sure it looks good for $83K lol. I also think it has hubcaps, at least I thought I saw them come off in that video.
They aren't hubcaps, they are removable aero covers. There is an aluminum wheel underneath you can use if you want, and there are full wheel options that don't have aero covers.
I totally agree that they are ugly, but they arent plastic hubcaps on a steel wheel as is implied. There is an aluminum wheel behind them that is attractive that you can use, the covers are just there for maximum range if you want that. Our old Prius was the same way.

Just fyi, back in 2013 I had a deposit put on a Nissan EV, but they couldn't deliver it in NY and ended up refunding me. In 2020 when we were getting my wifes new X6M, the only other car we were considering was the Model X with whatever the fastest version was back then. Just couldn't get over it's terrible interior.
