Tesla Model S Plaid
I like the new tailights and I bet the new headlights work better but I don’t see what all the fuss is about the headlights. A lot of owners complain and say the old headlights suck but they’ve always seemed fine to me and I never really had a need for more lighting and I travel on an unlit road fairly often.
As far as the badge, I like it better than the script on the prior refresh. I bought a cheap one on Amazon that is actually better quality than the OEM badge but I’ve read I can buy the actual OEM badge for $8 so I may buy one.

The new Model S may not come with radar so your autopilot might actually be better. You have to realize with Tesla that sometimes, the new car isn't as good as the old. Tesla keeps updating their cars but its not always to better the car...sometimes its the pricing on parts or they remove a feature because of component shortage. I always tell Tesla owners that if their car works and haven't had any issues, be thankful they had a Wednesday car because I know some of my friends had Friday afternoon cars and that is a real pain in the butt to deal with.
As for radar, I have read about that but I have also read that Tesla will likely disable it through a firmware update so they don’t have to support it anymore so who knows.

The old S lights have also been rated not good by the NHTSA. I suspect that's why they were updated.
Yes I have the same lights as yours and they seem perfectly fine. However comparisons to the 3/Y from owners with both (3/Y and S) all say the 3/Y headlights are much much better.

The one part I really feel like they cheated out on us the “adaptive” part of the light. Other manufacturers have the projectors headlights that swivel but my Tesla just has a little light that lights up when you turn the steering wheel. Seems cheap and not up to par with others but who knows if it is any worse in terms of visibility vs the cool factor.
