Supposedly the center "mash the wheel" type horn is coming as well it sounded like via software update but not sure.

Regarding charging, if you live in CA with our crazy electricity costs and all the sun, you need solar panels.
My electric bill is like $10 per month. And I blast the house A/C in the summer; in the past I used it mainly when guests were over.

mine went ok after the update. but yes once time i updated and i lost LTE. if that happens, try reboot. If it still doesn't get LTE, remove any USB in the car and reboot, apparently sometimes there is contention and causes problem.

if it still happens though, time for mobile service. my battery died and they were really good in coming out and replacing it

While I like the Yoke I still don’t like not having stalks. I still have to concentrate on the turn signal buttons as they still require me to glance down to make sure I am hitting the correct button. Stalks are just so much easier. It’s one of those things you don’t love but learn to live with. As for the horn button I have only accidentally hit it once so that doesn’t really bother me but that too I would have to look down if I want to use it.

I thought this was pretty funny. Its the slower SUV Plaid that weight 5300 lbs! Its against the fastest Lambo available.

LOL that was a killing. Not even close. Even with all that weight on the Plaid. The thing about EV's, you don't need launch control, or even a perfect launch, just turn off creep mode and use 1 pedal braking, that way your foot never leaves the accelerator, even at full stop

According to this the EVO is up there but it's not the fastest, the Huracan Performante is for both 0-60 and 1/4, and the Aventador Ultimae wins top speed for Lambo. The Tesla still probably wins even if it was a Performante

The acceleration of the Plaid is insane. I don’t even know how it gets low 2 second 0-60. What’s interesting is that it doesn’t launch hard at all but then all of a sudden it takes off. I was on the highway the other day and I just floored it briefly and I was going 150mph and I didn’t realize it.

I have to say, at this time with gas prices where they are it’s nice not having to pay these ridiculous prices. The pumps by me cut off at $75, they better increase that limit now.

My Polestar has nowhere near the power and torque of your Plaid, but I frequently find myself in your similar situation. Many times when I'm entering a freeway on ramp and I have to get around a slowpoke or have to quickly merge I find myself hitting 80 or 90 mph without even realizing it. One of these days that instant torque is going to get me in trouble

One thing I will give Tesla and never, ever denied them is that they're fast. And that's putting it mildly.

To watch it smoke a Lambo like that, lord.

I have no issues pulling on almost anything from 60mph on my slow Model 3. I can't imagine how fast that Plaid is. In the video, its shocking that the Plaid SUV is pulling on the Lambo at the higher speeds...just running away from it past 120mph. The earlier video had the 911 Turbo S get completely embarrassed by the the Plaid SUV...from a roll, i think it would actually be worse than from a dig. It must be a trip just toying with everything that wants to play with you

I would actually consider buying the Model X Plaid in the next two years if it wasn't for the yoke. I know people say they get used to it, but it would be for all practical purposes the family car, and my wife would make a huge fuss. And I just hate the way it (the yoke) looks. If the regular Model X is still around by end of 2023, I just may go that route as they are roomy and comfortable

My wife said the same thing and it was nearly a deal breaker for her but she loves it. 90% of the time it’s great, the other 10% it sucks.
