My road trip speed is 85 so I wonder how that would effect it?

Go to Abetterrouteplanner and you can punch in the numbers and assumptions and it would give you the range hit. My Model 3 Performance will take ~30% hit on EPA at 85 mph and its relatively aerodynamic. I bet the F150 gets hit harder...

Jesus, yeah that tanks it's badly. 70 seems much better for range

Yep, mandatory drag race is a must! Not bad, in the 12's for a big giant non performance truck!

Damn....

Ford F-150 Lightning no-resale policy being implemented

Dealers don't want buyers flipping their new trucks — and undercutting dealer markups

Lol, predicable. EVs will more and more dictate to the owner what they can and can't do with "their" car

Has nothing to do with EVs, and everything to do with how in demand the truck is.

^^ Exactly.

Don't see how any of this can be legal or enforced dealers and owners should be able to see their cars for whatever price people are willing to pay.

No you missed the point, it's the Dealerships dictating what we can and can't do. I can buy a Tesla, a Polestar directly and do whatever I want with it, including flip it. Read the title again. That why I say F dealerships with a Capital "F"

Just wait till it gets like phones. It's tech based, it will happen and has been going that direction.

And how are phones? I buy mine unlocked directly from OnePlus or Google (my daughter likes the Pixel) and take it to any carrier I want. How is that bad? Your speculating on something that hasn't happened and no proof that is going to happen just because you don't like EV's

It's not speculation if it's actively happening. Go try and get parts or worn on an EV and then talk to me how easy it is and how it's just like working on normal cars. The lock everything down

But this has nothing to do with that.

A Lightning privately sold on Cars&Bids just today. It had 315 miles on it. The original MSRP was $79,269. The winning bid was $100,500.
