Got it washed, detailed and coated outside. The leather coating and fabric coating should be here tomorrow and I will do them. This is the last time this will get hand washed, its BIG, I about killed myself. I had never hand washed the old one. This is also the cleanest it will probably ever be haha
The van looks great! The panoramic sunroof is huge. Are the rear DVD screens folded into the seat backs? The dash is nice but some of the flowing lines leading up to the side air vents don't speak to me.

Even at my age (when it is not being done free at the dealership as a courtesy), I can still hand wash my Lacrosse, and it's not exactly small, though I'll admit that its roof line cannot compare with a tall minivan like yours (which requires a real stretch). And, yes, in general, it becomes more difficult with age. I do one or two panels or body-pieces at a time, stop and rest, refill my bucket as necessary, and then go on.
Do your kids still need large booster-seats like that in the rear? (I'm assuming yes, because of the photo). The reason I ask is that your daughter looks like she's really starting to grow, although your son still looks a little smaller. Before puberty, though, it's not uncommon for girls to be taller than boys of equivalent age.

Thanks! Yep they fold up. You can also stream video off your phone straight to them, my 2017 didn’t have that streaming function. It also has a second sunroof over the third row.
Yeah the dash has a lot of lines moving around.

I wash the Lexus by hand all the time. This was a whole nother thing LOL. Getting up and down off of the step stool and the heat was the issue.

Yeah we actually just got those; they were using 5 point harness seats until we got this van actually. Kids have to stay in boosters until they are big nowadays. I tried a backless booster and they didn’t like it, these are better for when they sleep. These convert to backless boosters when that time comes.

Yeah the booster seat laws are insane these days, and I mostly just ignore them. In Illinois, kids are supposed to be in a belt-positioning booster through age 12. Mine hasn't been able to fit in any booster seat since he was 7.

Yeah our kids are tall, the 5 point boosters they had were at their max height for the head bolsters, so we got these instead of just converting those to belt boosters.
My daughter could ride in the backless booster, but I tried it with my son and he wasn’t comfortable (she’s about 1.5 inches taller). With twins you gotta keep stuff the same between them lol. She’s lost two teeth and he hasn’t lost any which is a massive disaster as you can imagine.

LOL. My son was already taller than his Mom at 12.
Its really hit or miss, the Diono 5 point harness seats they had before these were very slim, and folded up although they are really heavy, yet these are bigger lol

That's how we ended up with 5 Rainiers! I'm guessing you had those or the Radians. We thought they were going to be great because of the folding function and being airline approved, etc. BUT we quickly realized they weighed too much for that to be practical; it was also a pain just trying to move them from vehicle to vehicle!

I have to say, the FCA rear seat entertainment is one of the better rear seat systems I have seen. I love how you fold them down and they disappear into the seat vs. being stationary and up all of the time where they can get damaged by any random acts by kids or anyone else.
