The silver non F-Sport has the same wheels and exterior as the white non F-Sport IS300 I personally previewed in Singapore. But it is missing the memory seats of the Singapore spec IS.

even the Camry has memory seats and over 200hp for the 2.5L hybrid.

yet Lexus continues to use an outdated 2.5L hybrid that is slower than the taxi driving Camry is beyond believe. Not very F sporty.

It just depends in what country you live...the US doesn't always get all the features. Memory seats definitely exist in the IS...the Canadian spec models have them

1800 watt 17 speaker audio system Just crazy.

There are four air ducts up front for the front breaks

were previous IS models able to customize the steering and shock feedback? This one does

23 speakers in the LS and I wasn't blown away lol. It's all marketing. My 400 watt 2.1 sound bar sounded better.

Remember that volume is equal to Wattage to the power of three.
That is, 2 x 2 x 2 = 8.
Hence we must increase the Wattage eight times, in order to double the volume.

In other words, increasing the IS's wattage from 835 Watts (or whatever) to 1800 Watts will only achieve a small increase in volume.

We must increase 835 Watts to 6,680 Watts in order to double the volume!

perhaps a distinction without a difference.

if they don't lose the sale, then the customer didn't care about the feature. problem is, if they're wrong they're losing sales and may never realize it.

No memory seats is a non starter for me especially for a car that cost 50k with an old but reliable engine

Also, while I like the touchscreen I think the older screen integrated in the dash looked better.

Overall the car looks much better and more aggressive than the pre-refresh model. However, you know the old saying, “Looks like Tarzan...”

Glad to see Doug give credit for Toyota not being dumb. There is no future for them in this segment so why spend the money to do an expensive full redesign. He gets it

Must say, paint looks good. Stylish. And front grille looks great.
