External changes look more aggressive than the pre-2021 incarnation. Rear end looks good, but I'm not a fan of the glossy diffuser on this F Sport, I'm wondering what the base model would look like.

I could pass on the interior changes other than the leather wrapped dashboard and the center console layout. Infotainment screen being brought forward on the dashboard just looks like an eyesore, one of the things I like most about the pre-2021 interior is the fact the infotainment screen does not obstruct my view over the dashboard at all. Also the piano black plastic on the HVAC and head unit controls is meh.

I actually never minded the remote touch in the IS compared to the touchpad.
I guess they are forced to do touchscreen as all of the competitors are offering both. There were always a lot of redundant buttons on the IS, the air conditioning button was there which was great. My CT had it too. Remote is ok.

Not sure what everyone thinks, this is perhaps the first Lexus which i think the spindle grill actually looks good. The LC and new ES were an improvement but this iteration just looks balanced in way none of the others did.

Not sure where that 'video' got the information from (no source cited). I believe it's a guess rendering. The stance / wheels / offset won't see production like that i'm pretty sure.

and the interior appears to be unchanged (maybe a bit bigger/wider screen?) but still the horrible trackpad.

I smell yawn and then fail.

as for putting in the LS500 TTV6 - no chance.

Not sure how you could watch that commercial with the track and Lexus designers and claim it's not real.

Thanks, i was referring to the first video which was just stills. I hadn't seen the track one which looks like somehow a commercial leaked onto that guy's channel. I expect someone at lexus isn't too happy it leaked already!

anyway, exterior looks good. Interior, if it really is just the same, is disappointing.

Indeed. All that effort building their own secret track for them to hide it from the public eye, ruined by a single angry employee.

dunno if they're angry... they may just like the possible youtube payout although those videos had hardly any views.

Well, they cleaned it up. Always thought the 3is was a touch messy. So that's an improvement I guess. A few good design elements here though. However, not nearly enough to get the needle moving for me. Ancient everything else unfortunately with engines that are brutally outclassed still.

Hopefully the price doesn't jump up for this 3rd refresh. Smh.

Other than the LC, this is the only interpretation of the spindle grill I really like. UX headlights aren't the best here, but are okay. Tails are cool.

Rear end needs better tailpipe finishers. Some quad tips or the trendy oval/square shaped tail finishers would be nice. Aftermarket needs to get to work on that.

Concept spindle grill looks good. Production ones all look cheap plastic bumpers gone wrong, because the grill is so big it became the bumper.

There is only so much they can do with the facelift but they should have done something more with the dash.
