Harrier coming as Venza. 219 HP. 100% hybrid, 100% AWD, Electrochromatic panoramic fixed roof. LE, XLE, Limited grades
Sienna, 100% hybrid, 33 combined MPG. Platinum, Limited and XSE grades, LE and XLE. AWD still available on all grades. Now has a vacuum like Honda and Chrysler. Has a refrigerator. Get a center tunnel with shifter like Sedona has. no passthrough/walkthrough
Now people can finally understand why the Highlander is the size it is........ugh The Sienna is there for those who truly need more room.
That's the Toyota spin/position on it. Segment shows that far majority of people will still avoid a minivan at all costs despite the superior functionality and interior space.
With dark 20” split 5 spoke wheels and aggressive front and rear bumpers that are unique to XSE, this model looks like it was born on a race track.
Say what!?!?!
Venza is pretty blah to me. Just another SUV to choose from.
Sienna isnt bad at all to look at. Curious how ppl feel about no center pass through on a minivan. Wonder if front passenger will miss that easy access to the middle row.
The engines are incredibly boring to me. Zero interest in any of these but I understand that this is hitting right at the heart of the market that just needs a basic comfortable and efficient appliance. Im curious just how loud that 4 banger is going to be with all that eCVT drone in higher revs and all the weight it has to carry around with onboard Vacuums and Refrigerators, not to mention actually shuttling people and cargo around.
The Harrier that it's based on used to be identical to the RX, except for trim obviously. But as the RX grew (especially with the addition of the L model) along with its Highlander stablemate, the Harrier didn't (or at least not as much), so the Venza is actually a good deal shorter than the RX now, even though they have a similar profile.
I think the Venza looks good, but I had expected it to be larger than it is. Seems that it's not much bigger than the RAV4.
It has the same 105.9-inch wheelbase as the RAV4 and is only 5.7 inches longer than that compact crossover. Cargo space behind the Venza's rear seats measures just 36 cubic feet, which is actually two cubic feet less than what the RAV4 offers. Rear-seat space in the Venza is dimensionally similar to the RAV4.
