2021 Lexus LC
Depends on what you are comparing it to.
The turbo cars will crush it in any measure especially the MB/BMW v8s.
Lexus should highlight that its Naturally Aspirated, sound, no lag etc.
Lots of folks want to go to the country club and say my new sports car has 600hp even if they never will use 50% of it. It’s bragging rights.

I was in the market for a Toyota coupe, but was coming from a modded 600hp Infiniti Q60. Going to the RC would have been a downgrade, and as much as I like the car show styling of the LC, getting embarrassed by lesser cars (whether just getting revved on or raced against) would be a humbling experience for a 100k car.
I think Lexus missed the boat on this and should of made both the LC and LS have the same engines (v8 or 3.5tt) to be consistent. Having two sperate just confuses the consumer imho....

I think the V8 is the right choice for this car. Too bad it was not all new. I do think Lexus would do incredible things for their brand if they offered a super low volume once in a lifetime V12
So, from what I heard on some You Tube video, podcast or a some review, or maybe even Toyota somewhere, I can't remember exactly. The US has a 2-3% tariff on 2 seat cars coming out of Japan...does not count for Germany. Just Japan So that is why the seat is made to be so dumb.

If anyone has looked at the other cars in this segment they all have useless backseats - 8series, 911, Scoupe, DB11, GranTurismo etc. This is not why the LC is not selling well.
They should have the base engine as the 3.5V6tt.
LC-F should be the existing NA V8 but with more aggressive aero/wheels.
Then LC-F GT3 should be V8 TT with crazy aero and wing.
Just copy PORSCHE like MB has done with their GT lineup.
But having one model with one engine and no customization is just letting it die. Finally convertible is coming for 2021 but its probably too late.

Exactly, I couldn't possibly care less what someone at a traffic light thinks of me. If they want to race me, they can race themselves lol
