remaining BOF SUVs...
Found a good article from 2.5yrs ago that says there's 15 "real" SUVs left in the market. By real it means body on frame.
The 15 number, while true, is a bit inflated because they're mostly pairs of more of variation branding like Lexus LX / Toyota Landcruiser.
Toyota has the biggest line-up with 5:
GX, 4Runner, LX, Landcruiser, Sequoia
GM has 4:
Cadillac Escalade / Chevrolet Tahoe / Chevrolet Suburban / GMC Yukon
Ford has 2:
Ford Expedition / Lincoln Navigator
Nissan has 2:
Infiniti QX80 / Nissan Armada
Jeep 1:
Wrangler
Mercedes 1:
G-Wagon

Body-on-frame SUVs are becoming a rare sight on today’s dealer lots.
Believe it or not, there are only 15 “real” body-on-frame SUVs available new, as more and more automakers turn to unibody construction for a more refined driving experience. With the rise of crossovers in recent years, the definition of an SUV has become muddled, with automakers attaching it to models that aren’t body-on-frame.
And while it can get confusing trying to determine what’s rightfully a crossover or SUV, we’re here to talk about which body-on-frame SUVs are left – which technically, is what defines an SUV.

The whole argument of "real" SUV vs crossover is kind of silly. I remember back in the 90ies and early 2000s when SUVs were only starting to become popular, it was very common for people to refer to any SUV as Jeep, regardless of make. In fact, the term SUV isn't really used in conversations, most people call their SUVs trucks in conversations.
Body on frame? you mean the type of utterly useless SUV, or truck, or whatever you want to call it, which is completely unnecessary and grossly misused by 99% of their owners while wasting tons of fuel as well as parts in the process?
the one with horrible on road manners reminiscent of piloting a boat in the water?
the ones, which have the acceleration of a 4 cylinder family sedan while using 3x more fuel?
yea, no. Unless you regularly go offroading, or tow 5000+ pound trailers, or live in an area with very bad roads. Why on earth? do these people think they look cool or something?

Many of us DO use those capabilities thank you very much.

It is just a natural progression. There was a time when all cars were BOF, first minivans were BOF, and obviously first SUVs were BOF as well.
A small percentage of people are car enthusiast that can decide what type of chassis they need in their SUV, but most people don't know any better, and car makers are basically saving people from themselves by offering unibody crossovers. They are better in every way when it comes to everyday driving.

Why list the Tahoe/Suburban separately and not other similiar cases?)
Also, I'm going to assume this list is for the American market. The BOF Kia Mojave (which, here, was the Borrego) is still sold overseas.

Prado?
If one is going to list the Tahoe and Suburban separately (which are the same vehicle except for seating and wheelbase), might as well do the same thing for the Yukon and Yukon XL, which have the same relationship.
See the GM comments above. (Expedition EL, Navigator L).

Not an SUV, but the BMW i3 is actually body on frame.
There is also last generation Suzuki Grand Vitara - which was a unibody with built in ladder frame, and independent front and rear suspension. Really an odd duckling that I once owned. Small SUV that could hang with the big boys of its time in offroad prowess, and had the highest towing capacity in its class.
I respect the fact on Toyota.com, Toyota lists "Crossovers/SUVs" on their website. With Toyota, you can have either a unibody or a body on frame model, that is fine by me. Lincoln does it as well, they clarify "compact crossover to full size SUV"

I regularly go off roading and use low range, and tow a boat half of the year. Low range has saved my butt more than once when I put the boat in early in the season before the ramps are very usable, when my boat trailer fell off the ramp. Would not budge in anything but 4 Low. I like the way it drives. I can't wait to get our GX or LX that drive like trucks also.
Not all of us like crossovers which to me are minivans with doors, grocery getters.
The hate of BOF vehicles on these forums is astounding.
