I was just going from memory when I said 250hp. Looks like I remembered incorrectly.
I thought it was around 240-250hp as well. The small increase in HP from the new ESh isn't hard to achieve with slightly bigger batteries and more powerful motors. I just hope the next RX will stick with a hybrid V6.
This is a Ferrari, so it's special. But even with that prancing horse on the steering wheel, the execution of this asymmetry is a hot mess for such an expensive car.
Don't know if this has been posted. This lady has done a fine job on the review of the interior This interior looks sensational. I am not the biggest fan of the TNGA changeover, but it looks good from her review. Go to 7:00 to see the back room behind the 3rd row.
Next RX L third row/cargo will benefit greatly from the new chassis. The Highlander switch from 2019 to 2020 saw 2.36in increase in length, mostly in wheelbase.

I'll hold my breath about "greatly" as most initial feedback from the auto show circuit, and my own fit confirmed 3rd row still lags most of the newer competition by quite a bit.

Well whatever it is, it's going to be better than current
I said greatly because the current RXL was forced and rushed to market. Whereas the next RX 2021/2022 will be made with a 3rd row in mind.

Smaller 3rd row and overall size is by design. It’s more for kids or occasional type of use. Given even the current highlander pretty much outsells everything else in the class the new one will be a sure shot hit

Great post. This new Highlander is going to do very well. Toyota is hiring for an increase in production by 40K. The Hybrid model at 34MPG combined is going to achieve an extraordinary take rate. New styling and what I predict to be sharp handling will help the new model separate itself from the mid pack.

Yes, I know. Toyota doesn't need the Highlander to be gargantuan, because they also have Sienna, and obviously Highlander customers have been okay with the size. I didn't say the Highlander wouldn't be a hit.
Was just saying that the space lags where more competitors have gone, a bit larger. Yes, most of those competitors don't have a minivan with AWD to sell for bigger family needs.
But for Lexus, which doesn't have a Sienna, it may start to be a point of contention. Obviously RX is also quite successful, but Lexus is potentially leaving some customers on the table by not having a decent 3 row unibody SUV.
