It's better than the buttons they put in the Terrain.

We have the Honda buttons in our Odyssey and RDX. We've found it pretty easy, and can do it without looking at it. Tug backwards for reverse, etc. In our Pacifica, definitely double check a bit more to confirm which gear we're in. But both are fine once you've used it a few days.

C8 Z06 might be $95k, but the C8 Z51 wont be anywhere close to that MSRP.

I am a die hard Viper and Supra guy and never liked the Corvette but this is impressive and good looking.

The only thing I don't like is the spoiler, if there is a way to delete that it is a winner in my opinion.
I agree.. love the C8.. wish maybe option to kill the rear spoiler..

RIP Toyota Supra.

This thing is going to sell like crazy. It will lose a lot of buyers upset over the abandonment of the FR layout and manual transmission, but I think it'll pick up other buyers to replace them.

I’m VERY impressed by the engineering of this car.
LOVE:
- mid engine layout
- NA V8
- Amazing Performance #s
- 8speed DCT, no BS Auto
- Interior styling
- Focus on Customization
- $60k price for base car is INSANE

what I don’t like:
- No manual
- Chevy build quality
- UGLY tailights, just bring back the round ones that Corvettes always had!

This C8 Vette is way superior to Supra.
I was surprised to see it has well layed out Interior and lots of luggage space.
Options like the front lift system, performance exhaust, Z mode, exposed engine compartment etc really show they spent a lot of time on this development.

I can’t wait for the GrandSport, Z06 and anything else that is coming.
Awesome to see world class American cars like this finally.
Its definitely on top of my list of future cars to consider.

Sadly this is what NSX should have been - great job by Chevy, just need to get the quality control in order now!!!!

Base cars don’t have spoiler.

If you go on the configurator - there is option for a High Wing spoiler which looks much better that this regular one.
The rear spoiler, lights and diffuser area are a bit of a mess but for $60-70k, it’s probably the best looking car u can buy new.

Rear end looks too 'square', and I don't like the taillights, but overall still an impressive looking car, a head turner, for sure.

Someone will develop a circular retrofit taillight for the C8 I'm sure. Just like they did with the C7

I would go for the z06 then instead of paying for a stupid markup

But base is enough for me

I haven't been more excited in a sports car since my last nsx and potentially the supra (due to the FT-1 design) .

I could be wrong, but I'm assuming the first of these to reach the dealers will also have some crazy markups.

that's what's wrong with the butt... the license plate location. makes the rear look busy.

All other supercars and even the current vette have it lower near the exhaust.

With the quad exhausts at the sides now, they could have put the plate lower for a cleaner butt.

yep.

I think in their effort to design a space to store the detachable roof, it ruined the proportions back there.

Here's a quick hackjob of what it would look like decluttered and less square...
