Default Completed 5D vinyl wrap, 2005 GS430

Here is a picture of the vinyl wrapping of my interior trim pieces. It took a little longer than I wanted it to but I wanted it to be perfect and so here it is.

Looks awesome! I was thinking of doing the same to my GS. How much did it run you?

Hi, I purchased duplicates of all my interior trim pieces so there was that cost which equals about $150 CDN. Then the cost of the vinyl (5x5 roll off of Amazon) which was about $50 CDN. I also replaced all of my interior lights with LEDs. All total I’m in for roughly $300 CDN.

Mike, how difficult was it to remove the old trim to replace it with the new pieces?

Default Difficulty level in removing trim pieces

Hi, as far as the center consul is concerned it’s possible to remove all the pieces in under three minutes since they are mostly pressure fit. The door cards are more difficult and you have to be very very careful when disconnecting the latch mechanism, if you break any of the parts then your latching system may not work properly. Now that I’ve done it though, I think it could be done for one door in under 15 minutes, so it’s not that difficult at all really.
