Even if someone doesn't want to use a touchscreen or scroll wheel/pad, there's also voice control. And in that regard, the GX is leagues behind every current Lexus product, nevermind the GV80 or European cars.
Back to the GV80, is the 3d effect of the gauge cluster an option that can be switched off?
Yeah you can turn it off.

The more complicated stuff I don't see how they do it more simply. Take my seats, you have to go into a menu to use all the adjustments and the massage modes, etc...but there are so many adjustments and modes, how else do you present those controls?
Owning vehicles with touchscreens and without touchscreens at the same time, I agree touchscreens are more distracting.
The two touch screens I have are not easy to use while driving. Although when stopped at a light they are OK. I personally like some redundant hard buttons to compliment.
Is there a simple dial for the radio volume in a GV? I see the GX has some redundant controls but things look easier to use in the GX....just look at the tiny buttons for the HVAC where the GX has large on screen buttons.....I will agree that you get used to it, but things seem to get far more complicated that they really need to be. I think the dash screen is far too back in the GV compared to the GX.
Don't most people control radio volume with the buttons on the steering wheel by now?

Yep, its hitting the keys on the touchscreen while driving thats the challenge
So Genesis has exported around 7000 GV80s during October and November, with most of them going to the U.S. And yet so far, there's like <1000 listed for sale.
i always thought touch screens were cool until i got a car with a GREAT controller and UI (g90).
i don't miss finger prints either
Will assume your Genesis is not like my Stinger if you have fingerprints on your screen. In the close to 3 years of ownership, I have yet to accumulate a single fingerprint on the screen. I use it every time I'm in the car to access Android Auto. I don't know what type of anti fingerprint and antiglare product they have on that screen, but it works flawlessly.
Unless you're driving around with a bucket of fried chicken, getting chicken grease on your hands, then proceeding to touch everything. Lol
