Back when Lexus made good looking cars ...

Well, the LFA and the IS-C look good. The rest just look dated and bland to me. There's a reason things change.

I agree, but are we allowed to say that? Oh wait a sec, I thought the pic had the current one.
I think the SC430 was a really good looking car and I do remember it turned heads when it came out, probably not allowed to say that either. The RX turns heads as well, but 4 times quickly in succession.

While I do like the looks of the previous-gen Lexi, I don't think they would work well in today's market. They are outdated now, IMHO, especially with the more rounded, thicker headlight and taillight designs.

I bought a '10 RX precisely because I didn't want the predator grille.
Taste, of course, is highly subjective, but here's how the current crop of Lexi will one day be regarded, styling-wise:

I just like timeless designs. Some may call boring, but why do you want to date stamp something so obviously.
For those who think these designs won’t work today - you’re wrong. Audi have the most conservative designs and they are just doing great - stealing customers from the Lexus camp.

The prior IS, GS, and LS were certainly very clean and handsome designs that looked good relative to competitors at the time and have aged nicely.
I don't have much of an issue with the current crop of sedans, but all the Lexus SUVs look like crap to me. They are way overstyled and have predictably aged poorly.
With that being said, the previous RX was laughably ugly as well. Epitome of a dorky "mom" car.

The last gen IS was too feminine for me...you need to be more aggressive in a performance sedan. The current gen is a great looker. The GS and LS look better now than before as I like the spindle grill.

The pursuit of F
As much as I like the spindle grille, I wish it were styled more differently among the Lexus models. Too much of a good thing, dare I say, can start to become boring but then again, mission accomplished for Lexus to have a recognizable brand face.
As for the older gens, I still like them especially the '92 SC and 1st and 3rd Gen GS!
