Thoughts on ATS-V
Dodge Charger is kind of a boat and won't handle as well as stuff like the ATS, 3 series, RC-F, but that's what I would buy if I wanted a sedan. Go big or go home, the one with the 6.4 V8, Scat Pack trim is a screaming deal IMO, 485hp is plenty fast enough, and its about 20k cheaper than the Hellcat. There are two other trims with the 6.4 Hemi with more options, if you want them. Something about the Charger just speaks to me, its practical, fast, lots of room, but mainly it has character, swagger, something really lacking in a lot of new cars. You can get it in a bunch of different wild color combos, or blend in with grey or black.
If I were cross-shopping and I didn't want the size of the superb Chevy SS or a Mustang, Camaro or Challenger I'd be looking directly at the BMW M235i, M2... and Cadillac ATS-V coupe (or sedan).
Notably every single one of the cars I have mentioned are available with a manual gearbox option and more than adequate power from the factory. All of them have limited slip differentials as standard or optional from the factory as well.
Personally I like the ATS-V coupe a lot both in terms of looks and the engineering that went into it. It's seconded only by the BMW M2.
The current 3 series is as big as a 5 series used to be, so it's really a 5 series. The RCF... beautiful visually but it's very heavy and with no manual gearbox option.... meh...

If you need 4 doors - there is no better overall car than the M3.
It has more power that you will ever need on public roads.
It looks great.
Technology wise it has all the features you could want.
The back seat is huge (actually more legroom than my previous 535i)
Big trunk and seats fold down for more room if needed.
The only negative is the sound - its not a V8.

Funny thing is Lexus was doing better gauges back in 1990 lol. Actually I like the simplicity of the BMW gauges, just wish they had thrown some color of some sort on there and maybe a couple other auxillary gauges like boost pressure, amps, oil temp, gearbox temp. If they intend for people to track race their cars, they should put more gauges(and accurate ones) on the dash so you can keep an eye on the temperature of EVERYTHING.
Focusing just on the gauges is silly... the ats-v is awesome...

I think the ATS-V is a great car, but if u already had an RC-F, I would get a more change of pace car to switch up like a GS Luxury (still sporty) or even an LS or even an SUV, in the price range of an ATS-V, there is a lot of nice options out there. But based on your post, sounds like you just want a bigger sports car, I would go a little bigger than ATS like GSF or 550i.
Good luck
