Oh sure, its all a matter of personal taste. The big thing is the luxury nameplate. If you want "a Lexus" you're not going to consider a Maxima or Ford Fusion. I would drive the ES long before I drove either of those cars.

Genesis had a G80 Sport on display at the Chicago Auto Show. It looked great under the lights - An impressive car. Even though they don't have many models their display was tasteful and upscale.
Can you imagine the arrogance to chime in as a new member on a forum to a 7 year old thread like that? Yeah none of us on the largest Lexus forum in the world knew the ES from 7 years ago was based on the Avalon (which is based on the Camry). Thank God this guy came along and set us all straight!
