I stopped into my local Lexus Dealership today and when I was leaving they gave me a free Lexus metal ballpoint pen and Lexus mints, yes Lexus mints haha
Very nice! I've been a Lexus owner for 17 years, I've had 6 of them and nobody has ever given me anything LOL
At the D.C. Auto Show each year (I'm sure you've been there), a number of auto manufacturers give out all kinds of small things at their displays and test-drives, besides the standard tote-bags........caps, wool-hats, pens, cell-phone chargers, keychains, T-shirts, coffee-mugs, you name it. They spend a fortune at those big shows just on all the trinkets they give out, much less on the displays themselves. They also give out prizes at the quiz/trivia floor-shows. One of the things I like to do for the little kids each year is to take part in the Toyota and Scion auto-quizzes. The older kids there often know at least some of the answers, and get prizes for themselves. But the younger kids, poor things, they don't know enough, and come away forlorn and empty-handed. I feel sorry for them. So, when I'm at the quizzes, I'll answer at least some of the auto-questions (I know most of the answers, of course, but don't hog the event). Then, when they hand me the prize for the correct answer (sometimes there's a choice of prizes), I'll turn around and hand it to one of the little kiddies standing or sitting near me....especially if it is a suitable prize for them. It's just wonderful to see the look of joy in those little eyes and the "Thank You, Mister".....even from perfect strangers.
