I was thinking the same thing. Twin turbos add to the weight and I also thought about the block and wondered if Lexus went back to the good ol iron block, which definitely packs in the pounds. Has anyone found any info on the new 2.0L block? I couldn't find any info
twin-scroll turbocharger not twin turbo

Personally speaking I don't dislike the disconnected headlights in the GS-F as much because of the triple-L LEDs that add sharpness to the sharp front end and the side ducts that don't make the spindle grille look like a pig snout.
The regular GS simply looks awkward with the dull single round LEDs and the snout.
The RC-F is how this look should be done right, with all shapes flowing cohesively from one to another.
As a funny, one of the test questions for NX certification is:
Which of the following is true of the NX 200t engine?
1. A twin-scroll turbocharger design virtually eliminates lag
2. Powerful electric motors are used to eliminate turbo lag
3. Two turbochargers are used to maximize performance and fuel efficiency
4. All of the above
5. 1 and 3 only

I think you'll like the GS450h which will have the LED option most likely (maybe even standard)
^^ yeah, like that, except the new steering wheels are looking much better. With the new circular airbag area, I was thinking something like the S class coupe's steering wheel.
Question: Are the headlights single piece? If so my god how much would they cost if you need a replacement cluster? That probably means you have to order by color as well just like the previous S-class taillights before MCF
And I love the taillights, I don't know why tails are getting so much hate. They did as best as they could without retooling the whole rear quarter frame panel. I wish they redesigned the rear bumper to be more aggressive as tails.

Reason: Sounded dirty
as Vladi said, everywhere else, they go by production year, people dont know about MY's in the same sense, only about facelifts if they happen :-).
Then again, if some GS300h loses a lot of value after this facelift, who knows :-).
I do have to say once again that old non f-sport is simply too classic right now... boring and old people's car look compared to the rest of the lineup. Now IS looks out of place, and I hope they do something nice with it next year.
F-sports always look nicer imho and cant wait to see new F-Sport GS.
