I look at things more on principle than on actual cost. If the oil for a Bugatti actually costs $5k to begin with and they have to run it through and drain it twice, and Bugatti also flies out two specialist techs just to work on the car, and Bugatti buys me some champagne and has a model or two hang out with me during the oil change
If they fly out to you, do they bring their own jacks and perform the oil change at your house or do they drive to a specialized VW dealer???

these prices are only ridiculous to the people who can't afford the bugatti. how these mark ups work has been happening since the beginning of time.
example:
A greddy dual stainless steel exhaust for a wrx is 999 dollars. a greddy dual stainless exhaust for a gtr is 3000 dollars. the more money your car cost, the more money the product will cost. same amount of stainless used, even if the wrx makes more power, its not worth anymore. sad but true.
Golden rule of pricing: price depends on the customer, not the product you are selling. It is an ages old concept that is has been and still used by street vendors.
