6000 is the recommended first oil change and maintenance, but it all depends on how hard you push 'em. baby's got road rash for a reason. not a garage queen

Did you get it serviced at Rohrich? I live just south of Pittsburgh. I would LOVE to see your car sometime. I have yet to see one in real life. That car is absolutely gorgeous. Congrats!!!

That was pretty awesome video. I forgot that the LFA has two oil filters.

Default Over priced oil change??? Please help.

Hi guys,

I just got my LFA and going for its first service.
And this is the quote I got:

Subject: RE: LFA
Hello ,

Just wanted to give you an update on the vehicle. I’m done with the inspection and it needs a few service items :

Oil Change $2663.00

Wiper blades $399.00

Air filter $299.00

Brake Fluid $854.00

Total $4215.00 +tax

It seems very over priced. I have Porsches and Ferraris and never had to pay these extremely high price for some basic services.

Can anyone give me some feedback, Please?

Best,
Ko

That definitely does not sound right. For a first service, it should be a lot less. If you look at the first page of this thread, I asked the question and the LFA owner replied $300 for the oil change. Hopefully, someone will chime in on this, but I would recommend checking a couple of other dealership as well and see what they give you as quote.

Ummm oil changes should be around $1800 from Lexus LFA service department. I paid a little cheaper about $300 because they got pricing wrong. LoL

Wow, what a ripoff - what dealer is the quote from?

Just FTR my annual service (which includes oil change) is $1200 plus parts (filters/gasket/tons of oil) which in my case was $224.

Honestly, given how much Lexus corporate emphasized long-term support for the LFA, my opinion on this is that Lexus corporate should be setting prices on LFA service. Dealers shouldn't be trying to gouge LFA owners just because we're easy targets.

These prices are ridiculous but if you own one you wouldn't worry to much. Being a mechanic it is mind boggling for oil and brake fluid how much does it need 100 litres
