like everyone above said, if it's just an oil and filter... no. but if it's a scheduled maintenance, then yes they do offer it for free, but you have to book in advance.

You don't get a courtesy car for the 8000 km oil change (or for any oil change for that matter). My 8000 km oil change took almost 3 hours too. What a waste of a morning.

My dealer told me the 8K service would take 1-1.5 hours. I said, "For an oil change?". I then told them if they couldn't do it inside a half hour, I'd get somebody else to do it, especially after I made an appointment.

They did it in 15 minutes...

Don Valley Lexus wouldn't give me a courtesy car cuz I bought my car from the US but the service cost was around $375 for 10,000 mile plus brake service...they just lost my business.

They make more money in service in the long run, a stupid way to run a business.

You will be disappointed with every Lexus dealer you visit when you bring your US spec Lexus in. Canadian Lexus dealers will not provide courtesy car if your Lexus is US spec. No and, ifs, or buts. It is a dumb policy for sure.

I guess I'll no longer be bringing my car to Lexus Dealerships then. No point paying high service fees if you aren't going to get Lexus Service. Might as well just go to my private mechanic.

i don't know why but it seems like the canadian lexus dealerships suck in terms of their service.. i don't like my local lexus dealer.. i have to get my car diagnosed they said it could take an hour.. or longer.. do you think they would let me have a courtesy car for a diagnosis.. i just want to drive a newer lexus :P
