Nice looking. Where's the person that can lighten up photos and possibly show some more details?

agree. saw an is-c the other day - around here they're rarer than bigfoot. has cool lines. can't really tell much about this one, but i think a convertible rc is not likely to be all that.

It's impressive how much work Lexus has put into the RC from the start - standard version, F Sport, RC F, 350, 300h, coupe and now convertible. We know the 200t is coming down the pipeline soon enough as well.
Most likely it will be a hard top to compete with the 4 Series convertible.
I hope so. There's nothing more that I can't stand than rag-tops, nothing sexy about that

Lexus RC F Shooting Brake is crazy yet beautiful idea
Unlikely to happen
X-Tomi has published his new virtual project – a shooting brake modification for the Lexus RC F.
We haven’t heard anything about such a vehicle, but having in mind the sports RC F has a quite unusual design, the shooting brake idea sounds like a pretty realistic project. The model has the same aerodynamic body kit that consists of aggressive bumpers and 19-inch alloy wheels, but features a modified rear end.
The standard model has a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 467 bhp (348 kW) and 389 lb-ft (526 Nm) of torque. The engine is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission that enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 4.5 seconds, run the quarter mile in 12.5 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 273 km/h (170 mph).
Lexus has just informed us about the world premiere of a new "open-air concept" named the LF-C2 at next week's Los Angeles Auto Show.
There's an artsy dark photo of the LF-C2, but that's about it, with Lexus leaving it to us to decipher the model.
Given its name, the outline of the body with the protruding rear bumper and more importantly, the double humps on the boot for the rear-passenger headrests, we're pretty confident that this is the convertible version of the LF-CC Coupe Concept or in other words, a pre-production study for the upcoming RC Convertible.
What the picture doesn't tell us is whether Lexus has designed it with a fabric roof like Audi's rivaling A5 Convertible or if it has chosen a retractable metal top solution, as it had done with its predecessor, the IS Convertible.
