I can't get used to it.....yet. The gauge cluster I can't get used to, with the big goofy (leather stitched?) digital screen there next to plain-Jane fuel and water temp gauges--it just looks awkward. Also it's just sorta all over the place inside with the lines and angles, and weird how said gauge cluster is so elevated. The current LS460 interior is much more aesthetically pleasing to my eye.

IDK though, I need time to let the car grow on me. Disappointed no V8 available.

Can't wait to read reviews and especially comparison tests!

The press release also makes sure to let everyone know that the 4.5 0-60 time is for RWD.

" which assist the LS with a projected 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds (RWD)"

I saw a Porsche Panamera tonight at the Porsche dealer at the mall I was at. I have had a few alcoholic drinks tonight after dinner, I have to say I really like the design now.

Savage! Some days, I like the Panamera, too. I think only certain colors, like browns or grays, really work for it.

The new LS though... I think it's a success. Definitely more so than the Panamera, anyway.

Looks like the LS is copying the PREVIOUS GEN Panamera, which was not so gorgeous. Great interior though! And for the record, I am not anti-Lexus. I have hopes that the new LS will knock it out of the park!

I'd agree the new-new one is better-looking. Good point. I was just thinking of the old design.

For those interested in some details. If you troll through Car & Driver as well as Motor Trend.

1. A separate Chinese only engine will be available (can we say In-line four Turbo

2. You can also see the dual sunroofs for both the front and the rear in the photographer press photos at Car & Driver.

3. The volume button doubles as a Volume and Tune ****.

Well, Cadillac is also doing that with American-spec CT6 models....a 2.0T. We'll see how either one sells.

Right on! This Lexus will be the quietest LS ever, it will also be fastest and funnest.

I believe the 10 speed is a first. Is it not?

No. Camaro ZL1, Ford F-150 Raptor, and Honda Odyssey Elite should be hitting the streets before this car.
