1st gen LS still looks better. Lexus lost me with their spindle grills.

A V6 sounds more interesting if it has turbo and the V8 does not.

What about a V6 with electric turbos that spools up instantly?

No thanks. I want a V8. You can't beat the smoothness of a V8. Don't get me wrong, these turbo 6s are good engines, I might not pay the huge sum to get a 750 over a 740 for instance, but they just have that little edge of unrefinement you don't see in a V8.

Maybe (if this rumor is true) Lexus went up to the 95k price category to be a serious contender to MB and avoid being classified in the same category as Hyundai's newest Genesis.

As Lexus Europe boss said few days ago, they dont see LS as volume model (anymore?), but halo vehicle... which means by default way more luxury and tech than before, and price going up. I guess we should look at LC to see how they will up the ante with interior, etc.

Concerns about price increases for the LS is a big reason why I got an LS when I did.

Agreed, unless it was the late 1980's again and then I'd take the Buick Grand National over any V8 car back then.
