I think the proper wording would be ...

"Has either Hellcat attempted Nürburgring?"

There weren't any spy pics coming from that region. Not sure if I care honestly.

I'm just curious, 700hp regardless of badge piques my interest to see how it stacks up against ZL1 and GT500

If Dodge thinks they can just shove a big engine with big power into a regular sedan and get people to buy it...

they are absolutely right. This might be my next car.

The world’s fastest four-door saloons
http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/the...ons-2014-08-15
The new Dodge Charger Hellcat joins an elite and exclusive club of super-fast production saloons

SRT Charger Hellcat - 204mph

If you want to go really, really fast, be four-up, but not have to crawl round the front seat when getting in, the new SRT Charger Hellcat is the new king.

Thanks to Dodge's power mad SRT department, the Charger has had heart surgery to squeeze the same supercharged 6.2-litre, 707bhp, 560lb ft HEMI V8 from the tyre-smoking Challenger Hellcat, into a car normally reserved for taxi drivers.

0-60mph? 3.7 seconds. Top speed? 204mph. That makes it the fastest and most powerful production four-door in the world. Sounds good, too.

Aston Martin Rapide S - 203mph

Aston's incredibly elegant Rapide S recently got some tweaks to make it go faster. It got a brand-new gearbox, reworked suspension and a few other electronic tweaks under the skin. This means that the 6.0-litre V12 coupled to a new and impressive eight-speed automatic from ZF allows the Aston to creep over the magic double-tonne, to a 203mph maximum.

Bentley Flying Spur - 200mph

If one wants to be in the four-door 200mph club but appreciates luxury, we'd recommend the Bentley Flying Spur. You can leave Jeeves to do the driving as you sit in the back watching two 10-inch screens, surfing the internet on the on-board WiFi whilst your buttocks are heated/cooled/massaged in the reclining rear seats. All while the 616bhp, 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 winds out to see nought to 60mph off in 4.3 seconds and on to a 200mph top end.

Porsche Panamera Turbo S - 191mph

Its looks may be polarising, but there's no doubting that Porsche's Panamera Turbo S is quick. With 543bhp and 590lb ft of torque when the twin-turbo V8 is cooking, 0-62mph is completed in 3.8 seconds (which is pretty bonkers for a 1995kg people/load lugger) and you'll sail to a top speed of 191mph.

Maserati Quattroporte GTS - 190mph

Only the Italians could legitimately get away with calling a four-door car ‘four-door'. And it's quite a four-door, with a 523bhp twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8, overseen by a former Ferrari F1 engine wizard.

As such, this Italian four-door will go from 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds, and on to a top speed of 190mph. That's more than fast enough.

Audi RS7 - 189.5mph

As Fast Audis go, this new Audi RS7 is really very Fast. It has a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 producing 560bhp and 513lb ft of torque. Which is plenty, and allied with that four-wheel-drive system, will accelerate from 0-62mph in 3.9 seconds. Ludicrous, then. What's more ludicrous? A 189.5mph top speed - as long as you tick the right option box.

Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S - 186mph

Not all Mercedes-Benz E63 AMGs are created equal. Yes, they all share the now well proven 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8, but the standard car gets a piffling 549bhp. Barely enough to get you out of the driveway.

No, you'll need the E63 AMG ‘S', which gets a much more palatable 577bhp and 590lb ft, meaning it'll crack 0-62mph in just 3.6 seconds (well the four-wheel-drive version will), and with the driver's pack optioned, headline at 186mph.

Jaguar XFR-S - 186mph

Jaguar's 5.0-litre supercharged V8 makes one of the finest noises on earth. It also makes the XFR-S one of the fastest saloons on earth. That monster engine produces 550bhp and 501lb ft of torque, enough to get the rear-drive Jaaag from 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds and onto a limited - limited! - top speed of 186mph. Eat that, The Germans.

Default Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Convertible rendered, looks surprisingly good

Unlikely to happen

X-Tomi has envisioned a convertible version of the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat.

The "quickest, fastest and most powerful sedan in the world" comes into focus once again, this time thanks to a new rendering by the Hungarian designer X-Tomi. Highly unlikely to ever happen, this convertible modification shows us a stylish and well-proportioned topless vehicle powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that develops 707 bhp (527 kW) and 880 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque.

The Charger SRT Hellcat is the latest creation of the Detroit-based manufacturer. It can run the quarter mile in 11.0 seconds and hit a top speed of 328.3 km/h (204 mph). The car can also go from 0-160-0 km/h (0-100-0 mph) in less than 13 seconds. It will go into production early next year with pricing to be announced closer to launch.

Hmm, sort of ugly if you ask me. Not sure I agree with the "well proportioned" statement. Does not look sporty at all.
